Pretty short blog post today. I’ll let Scott’s work speak for itself. I just absolutely love the gorgeous line, the fun cute characters, the environments, it’s all super cool. I really love everything about Scott’s sketchbook!
I know you will too. Scott’s line is killer!
Scott’s favorite pencil, the orange col-erase.

Mat,
Love the sketchbook reviews. Very inspirational and great talent.
I have a suggestion I’d like you to consider. Since each student is so talented and I particularly pay attention to line quality and trying to understand how different people approach their work, I would love to see a 5 min clip/compilation of each person actually drawing. e.g.,How they consider and make their first marks, how they develop their composition, how they work through points where work is not heading in the right direction (..e.g., correcting an element of their drawing..), how their lines are initially drawn and then how they clean-up/bring energy to them as they work through, how and when they add in value changes, etc. This would help me, an others, discover simple process /approach insights to tune our own work. Thanks for considering, Brad
I really neglected my sketchbook this past year. Need to give it some attention. #sketchbook #pendrawing #doodle #sketch
